I love marriage, I think it’s such a special thing. My wedding day is still one of my happiest memories (even in the middle of our divorce!)

I think for so many marriage is the end ultimate goal, it all leads to the wedding day, it’s like level completed. So what happens after the honeymoon period? Marriage isn’t a wedding, it isn’t coasting, it’s daily commitment, connection, friendship, support, growth and so much more. It’s a lot, but can be oh so special, when it’s worked on, nourished, watered.

It’s the ultimate gift you are giving someone and ultimate gift you are receiving, getting to be the closest witness to someone else’s life.

I do believe there should be more marriage classes before you get married, to learn how to make it successful, like conflict resolution, true open communication skills, discuss what marriage means to you individually and how that can come together to build your unique marriage together, finances and so much in between. Someone I know had to do this, they called it “marriage school” it was a condition of being able to marry where they wanted to and they share it was the best thing they did. And I think this should happen more. If I’m honest, I’d want to do couple counselling early in a committed relationship to help give us the tools to move forward together. Because if I’m honest I haven’t had many good long terms relationships modelled to me, not super close to me.

However I still, with all this said, believe marriage is magical. And This is why I love making wedding rings. Aside from your marriage itself it’s your physical, tackle daily reminder of this commitment. And to make that for you, is truly special. Wedding rings are one of the most meaningful things we as jewellers can make, so each one should be made especially for you.

My first appointment of 2026 was wedding ring’s appointment, I feel this years is going to be filled with so much love, and I can’t wait xx

Today I realised something… something important about how I create: my work is intuitive, not formulaic. I work best when I don’t meticulously plan every detail before I begin. Instead, each piece reveals itself as I work, influenced by inspiration, guided by instinct and creativity in the moment.

Much like a writer who knows their theme but discovers the story as they write, or a painter who has a vision but lets it unfold on the canvas, my jewellery is at its best when I allow this organic process to flow.

I think this is where I’ve been getting stuck, trying to work against my natural creative rhythm.

My customers understand this approach. We create mood boards together, draw inspiration from past pieces, choose stones and certain placements but then we leave space for the piece to take form. These are the customers who radiate an added level of pure joy when they see their finished jewellery, because it holds something unexpected and alive.

This is when you get the best of me, as a jeweller, creative, and artist. That’s where my joy lives, and that’s where the best of my work comes from. I can’t wait to let this part of me shine more brightly with you in 2026.

I’m stepping away from the bench for a few days as we say goodbye to this lovely lady.

After losing my Granddad last year, my Nan has now joined him, and there’s a quiet comfort in knowing they’re together again. Their love was something truly special, the kind of bond that stays with you, shapes you, and reminds you what devotion looks like. They shared their story on BBC Radio Oxford in their own voices, and they are one of the reasons I carry such a deep belief in love.

Tuning into our bodies is a powerful thing. And something I’m doing more of lately, checking in with my nervous system, my gut, my emotions and listening and feeling my way rather than thinking or over thinking my way though things.

How does this relate to jewellery? I always say go with what makes your gut and heart sing. You’ll know the right piece or stone because you’ll feel it, it’s not thought lead but feeling lead when you purchase jewellery.

Jewellery is so deeply personal which adds to what makes it special 🫶

Lately, I’ve been sitting surrounded by boxes, my current packaging, past designs, and a few beautiful new samples (and some just a big ❌) thinking deeply about how I can elevate the experience of receiving a piece from me.

When you open your jewellery, I want you to feel something, a quiet sense of luxury, care, and meaning. The packaging should have its own life and story, yet still be gentle on our planet.

I’ve previously looked to the cosmetic world for inspiration; they seem to have a wider range of sustainable packaging options. But jewellery packaging is its own kind of magic, it needs to cradle something precious, tell a story before the piece is even revealed.

So, I’d really love to hear from you, what do you love to see (and not see!) when you open an order? (Not just jewellery) Do you enjoy layers of discovery, tissue and ribbon, or do you prefer simple, minimal, and straightforward? Your thoughts will truly help shape what’s next.

Solder isn’t the same as sheet or wire gold. You couldn’t make a ring from it. So I would love to know. How much would you expect this to cost me?

Okay friends, I’ve been doing some thinking. Reels, videos, transitions, the whole thing. They’re meant to be the key to growth here, right? But the truth is… they don’t light me up anymore. They take forever, the reach isn’t what it used to be, and I find myself missing the simple, old-school way of sharing.

So I’m taking a step back. I’ll still sprinkle in a reel now and then, but not every post. Instead, I want this space to feel more authentic, more connected, and more “me.”

Maybe the algorithm won’t love it. But maybe we will. 💛 What do you think, are you team reels, or do you miss the days of slower, more thoughtful posts too?

AI isn’t perfect, and I feel it in no way replaces the human touch. However what I have learnt over the years using it, that’s it’s another tool in your tool box to help. These renders of my sketches aren’t perfect but they do save me hours doing by hand, and means customer get a quick view of their design before it’s made. People do this in CAD which is amazing, but is a whole other skill in itself and has a different feel again. This feels more alined with me and my designs. I use consciously as with any system or material within my business. And it’s amazing what it has helped me achieve. One day, I’d love to offer hand render designs, but right now, with where I am with my business, AI supports my growth. And I’m choosing to be very open with you, as I am with all aspects of my work. It’s not for everyone and that is ok. But it can be that amazing tool that’s sometimes needed.

It started with one of the best gifts I’ve ever been given. A disco ball, right when I needed it most. Made of broken, cut-up mirrors, yet somehow its beauty fills a room with joy and light.

I realised… that’s what life does too. The hard moments, the ones that feel like they’ve splintered us, don’t actually take away our shine, they just shape how we reflect the world back.

So there I was at @wildernesshq trousers from a car boot sale, top from Vinted, dancing under the sun. And in that moment, I wasn’t just wearing the disco ball. I was the disco ball. The universe had clearly been planning this one. ✨

✨ AI & Me — A Creative Collaboration I Didn’t See Coming ✨

This weekend, I tried something new.
I took a few of my rough jewellery sketches, just pencil ideas and used AI to visualise them in 18ct gold with diamonds.

The result? Honestly… I’m still processing.
It’s filled me with excitement and questions. As a traditional goldsmith, my work is made by hand, guided by feel and intuition. But suddenly, this gave me a way to show you what I see in my mind, before I ever pick up a tool.

I’ve never used renderings or digital previews in my process for my own business, preferring to work from my minds eye but It’s got me thinking: could this help me grow Rebekah Ann Jewellery in new ways?

When I shared the AI images on my Stories (clearly marked with “Rebekah Ann & AI”), the response was surprisingly positive. People engaged, DM’d with favourites, and saw something they loved. It helped bring the piece to life.

And of course, as someone committed to sustainability, I’ve been looking into the environmental impact too, because every tool we use leaves a footprint, even digital ones.
