For some time now, I've pondered a crucial question within the industry: what happens to damaged and broken stones deemed unfit for recutting? Do they end up discarded, tucked away in drawers for years, with no clear purpose? This contemplation led me to a realisation – many of these stones retain their beauty despite flaws and damage.
